Zone D Retinoblastoma Unit Appeal

Last year Birmingham Children's Hospital Retinoblastoma (Eye cancer) Unit made an appeal for electronic toys. These were required to assist in easing children into the unit for assessment, treatment and after care. The Unit also wanted to make the clinic a "fun" experience for the children so that they did not fear future visits.

The Lions clubs of Zone D: Castle Bromwich, Marston Green, Birmingham Exhibition, Sutton Coldfield & Erdington and Balsall Common made this their Zone Project for 2011/12 and from a variety of fund raising activities raised the magnificent sum of £1873.
