Worcester Lions Club has inducted two new Lions, one at the end of Lion President Angie Wycherley’s year and another at the start of Lion President Gordon Templeton’s new year in office.
Christine Baker was inducted after having experienced numerous club fundraising projects and social activities. Christine’s first fundraising activity had been at Worcester Asda with the Clubs new Lion mascot.
Mike Eley was inducted by Lion President Gordon Templeton as his first duty in his first meeting as President.
Ian Haffner, 1st Vice District Governor and Membership Officer in the Worcester Club, supported both new members at their induction. He said he was very pleased to see increasing Lion numbers in his home club, a trend that is happening in the District.
