With the nights drawing in and the days getting colder it is that time of year to start thinking about that special countdown. Yes how many days to the Festive Walk. Fill up your car with friends and relatives, turn up and make a donation and walk off your Christmas pudding - that’s the invitation from Knowle and Dorridge Lions to this year’s Lions Festive Walk.
Once the hustle and bustle is over for Christmas you can look forward to enjoying a leisurely walk with family and friends along three well signposted routes from the historic Baddesley Clinton National Trust house on Sunday 29th December.
The walk which offers a choice of 4, 7 or 10 mile sign-posted circular routes are designed for all abilities, and pass local pubs where additional refreshments are available, but please note the short route is not buggy friendly.
Once you have walked off your Christmas fayre why not join the Lions and purchase a mulled wine and mince pies and help us raise money for our nominated charities: The Brain Tumour Charity, Northleigh House for bullied children, Vision Care for homeless people, and local causes.
