For 35 years Lion Alan Douglas of Balsall Common Lions has painted a mural to surround their annual village bonfire. Each year he chooses a different theme and this year he chose 50 years of Doctor Who.
The first picture show Lion Alan making finishing touches to the mural and the bottom two show the finished mural and the 1st guy to be entered for the competition which gained 3rd prize.
This year the event attracted over 1700 visitors and raised £4,500 of which 80% will be donated to local good causes.
