Santa and his helpers arrived in the village to see the Village Christmas Lights switched on by Councillor Joe Tildesley, Mayor of Solihull.
The event was well attended, local businesses provided refreshments and the children from Balsall Common Primary School sang carols, before the Lord Mayor did the final countdown.
