Barwell & Earl Shilton Club Street Fair

Barwell & Earl Shilton Club held a hugely successful street fair which was held over 2 days.

The main road through Earl Shilton was partially closed to allow the bigger fair ground rides such as the big wheel and the funhouse. Other fair ground rides included a roundabout for the smaller children and hook a duck. Other attractions included cake, tombola and plant stalls, Punch and Judy, a rodeo, a bungy run and stocks.

The stocks were particularly successful see the photograph of Lion President getting very wet.

First Aid was provided by the local First Responders who we have supported in the past and will do again with some of the proceeds of the weekend.

The main purpose of the event was to provide a good day out for the people of Earl Shilton. The club made an astounding profit of £1500 – A fantastic result for the first event of it’s kind for the club. The proceeds will be used to support local good causes.
