Birmingham Exhibition Lions Club Present Cheque at Radio WM at the BBC Mail Box

Lion Elizabeth Jones, our club Secretary and Mike Ryan (Lion President 2008-09) were invited on to the Jo Malin programme, on Radio WM, at the BBC, Mailbox, to present a cheque for £2000 to the "Kidney Kids" Appeal.

This is for a new Children's Renal Unit, at the Birmingham Children's Hospital and Radio WM has been leading the Appeal.

Birmingham Exhibition have been doing Can Shake collections at the International Station, NEC and Melbick's Garden Centre during this Lions' year.

Also, with the help of the other Clubs in our Zone, we have been collecting old, broken & unwanted jewellery, which we have already donated to the appeal.
