LION’S TROLLEY DASH 

Watch out for Shirley and Knowle and Dorridge Lions when you are shopping in Monkspath over the next fortnight, as the 2 clubs are working together to raise funds for local causes raffling a Trolley Dash at Tesco’s.

If you would like to win the spectacle of a Trolley Dash for upto £300 worth of groceries to fill your fridge & freezer then make sure you support the Lions raffle.

Last week the ‘Shopping Lion’ visited the Monkspath store and met manager Colin Treadway and the Presidents of the two Clubs – Adrian Harris & Martin Conlon to see how it’s done.

‘We were delighted when Tesco’s approached with this fundraising opportunity,’ said Adrian from Knowle and Dorridge. ‘Not only is a Trolley Dash a first for our Lions Club, but it is great to be working with another club of enthusiastic Lions to raise funds in this way. However much we raise will be shared between the Clubs and passed on to worthy causes in the next 6 months.’
