Kidderminster & District Raft Race 

Kidderminster and District Lions Club Annual Raft Race from Arley to Stourport took place on Sunday with 44 rafts taking part.

The fine weather made it a very enjoyable day out on the river. Divers from Redditch,Stourport and the Severn Area Rescue provided safety cover for the event. Radio coverage for safety Co-ordination was provided by RAY NET.

Many of the crews took advantage of a pit stop at Bewdley before sailing onto Stourport where the Lions were waiting to lift them from the river.
