BALSALL COMMON AID THE SARACEN’S HEAD

Tony Cunningham Vice-President of Balsall Common Lions Club receiving a cheque from Wendy Lawrence, Manager of The Saracen’s Head Pub and Restaurant in Balsall Common. This follows an initiative by Marstons’ Inns and Taverns who organised a series of Fun Days at their local establishments.

The Saracen’s Head organised a charity car wash, skittles, beat the goalie competition, and a bring and buy stall. When they decided help was needed, their turned to Balsall Common Lions to man the stalls.

Catering was the easy part! The resident Chefs provided excellent Bar B-Q food on a delightfully sunny afternoon.

The results can be seen in the picture as Lion Tony received the proceeds of the afternoon for Balsall Common Lions charity account.
