Kidderminster Lions Club

Kidderminster and District Lions Club have made a £1,000 donation to the local Kidderminster Cricket Club.

Earlier this year, an arson attack on the Cricket Club pavilion resulted in the loss of most of the equipment. This worthwhile donation will enable the Cricket Club to continue the youth coaching and supporting the youth teams.

Incoming President Ron Cross and his wife Lion Linda attended the 60th anniversary lunch of the Soroptomists International Kidderminster & District Club at the Wharton Park Golf Club. Hosted by the President Shirley Bonas, the guest speaker was Sylvia Heal MP Deputy speaker of the House of Commons.
