Accommodation Concern provides advice, support, training, advocacy and educational services to help with housing, homelessness and related issues. They also help people who are sleeping rough on the streets, whilst their outreach services work to advise, support and accommodate those rough sleepers.
Corby Lions became involved this group after discovering the work that Accommodation Concern were in involved in and that sleeping bags which were needed by the group were available through Lions.
As a result Corby Lions were delighted to make a donation of a number of sleeping bags to the group and Lion Chris Lane said “we will be keeping in contact with the offer of further support should it be needed”.
