Southam Lions 4th Annual Poetry Competition

A packed Graham Adams Centre on Friday 9th November enjoyed the Southam Lions 4th Annual Poetry Competition Awards Evening. Southam Town Mayor, Mr Mike Gaffney MBE TD, presented the Awards and the recipients were invited to read their winning entries. After ‘Cheese and Wine’ other budding poets were invited to read their poems and the youngest was just 5 years old! We are delighted to say that ‘Southam certainly has got Talent!’

A book has been published of all the 150 Poems submitted, and can be obtained from Dave Brough for £4.50 - 01926 810513
