Once again Warwick Lions have been busy with their Christmas Parcels.
First we delivered hundreds of leaflets to homes around Warwick asking residents for support. One week later on Sunday 15th December the Lions club members and other volunteers collected the donations of non-perishable food from the homes around town.
Having collected thousands of mostly tinned food we then had to sort these into types i.e. Meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and drinks.
After counting each of the types of food we divided equally to the number of well deserving recipients.
This year 148 parcels were made up and delivered.
Warwick Lions would like to thank all the Warwick residents for their donations.
Once again Lions of Warwick are helping those people in Warwick to have a good Christmas.
