Towcester and District Highlights of the Evening 

At a social meeting held on Wednesday 6th July, at Lion Dave Powell’s home, Towcester and District Branch of Lions Club International thanked their outgoing president, Roger Clarke, for his work in the past year. They welcomed new president Len Holder, who will serve for the coming year.

Highlights of the evening were the celebration of 30 years in Lions marked by the award of a chevron to Lion Graham Bryce and the handing over to Graham and his wife Juliet of a cheque for £115 for Macmillan Cancer Support, raised by Towcester Lions last week in support of a successful Macmillan Charity Lunch at Bay Tree Cottage in Farthingstone.
