TREE PLANTING – ALDRIDGE AND SANDWELL LEAD THE WAY

Can you help plant over 1,400 trees?

Aldridge Lions invite you to come along to Anchor Meadow on Saturday 19th November and join them in their Community Tree Planting, whilst Sandwell Lions invite you to Sandwell Valley Country Park for their tree planting on the following day.

Aldridge Lions will have an information area at the entrance to Anchor Meadow and Sandwell Lions an information tent at the entrance to Sandwell Valley Park to direct fellow Lions and members of the public to the tree planting area. Spades will be provided (or you can bring your own) but volunteers should remember to bring sturdy shoes or wellingtons and suitable clothing in case of inclement weather.

The access to Anchor Meadow is via Middlemore Lane and to Sandwell Valley Park is via Salters Lane, West Bromwich. Both sites have plenty of parking.

For more information please contact Lion John Butler of Aldridge Lions on 0121 353 6400 and Lion Paul Murphy of Sandwell Lions on 0796 304 104 or just simply turn up at 10.00 am on the respective days.
