Ordinary People doing Amazing Things

TALK ABOUT A BUSY SCHEDULE!!

Our International President, Dr. Wing-Kun Tam, was here in the Midlands on Monday 12th March when he visited our Multiple District Headquarters in Kings Heath followed by lunch hosted by Birmingham Chinatown Lions Club.

He then made his way to the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffs, where he visited the new Shelter paid for by the Lions of MD105 and planted a tree nearby (see attached photo’s)

There was a good turnout of Lions to welcome him and he tried to speak to as many as possible.

He then left for Kegworth to meet those Club Presidents and Lions in attendance in his aim to meet as many Presidents as possible during his year.

Finally he made his way back down to London for the following day when he attended Lions Day with the United Nations at the Houses of Parliament and a meal in the evening hosted by London Chinatown Lions Club.

AS WAS SAID, A VERY BUSY SCHEDULE!!
