Lion Neil Chisholm of Warwick Lions has become District Governor Elect

At the Lions 105M District Convention held at the Hilton Hotel in Warwick and hosted by Warwick Lions Club, Warwick Lion Neil Chisholm was elected as District Governor Elect 105M.

105M covers the Midlands area and with over 60 clubs in Birmingham, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire and during his year of office Neil hopes to visit all clubs at least once.

Neil joined Canterbury Lions Club in 1980 and in 1987 moved and joined the Warwick Lions Club in 1987.

Neil became President of Warwick Lions in 1997; he then became Zone Chairman for two years, followed by a further two years as Region Chairman before becoming the first ever 2nd Vice District Governor two years ago. He is just completing his year as Vice District Governor.

At the Convention, Neil outlined his plans for the year with the aim to put a ‘SMILE’ on every Lions face as ‘We Serve’ the local community. Every incoming District Governor has a theme for his year, and Neil’s is ‘SMILE’ Service, Membership, International, Leadership, Enjoy, he said that, “as Lions, we do smile when we think about the good work that we do”.
